Room
Passing by in the
brightness, inside is
quiet like the deep
Prussian blue
Sauntering,
The momentum slides through
Sheds the snake skin,
the dead transparencies
and scaly tendencies
of the blue, inside
room after room after room
reveling each anew.
I Once Dwelled Upon Rocks
I fantasize about rocks
And their preexisting conditions
A combination of indents and scars,
A somewhat odd specificity
I fantasize about rocks
And days where I live amongst them
In solitude
And listen to their histories,
Like teta’s* lyrical recitation of Jaffa childhood
Recitation’s that only live in her.
I fantasize about rocks
Their disfigured shapes
Like teta’s* scar running down her skull
Her akin to a rock
